July’s Newsletter

Jambo from Tanzania!

Thank you.

Your generous support to Homeopathy for Health in Africa (HHA) has made a difference.

Because of special people like you, HHA has been able to provide healthcare and health education to over 20,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in Africa for over thirteen years.

This has been achieved through local and outreach clinics, training courses, supporting locals to get back to work after illness, and providing free homeopathic medicine among other services.

It’s truly amazing what’s been accomplished because of your kindness.

Monthly Giving – Field Education Program

As someone who takes action you may be interested in our important Field Education Program.

This grassroots program is 100% funded by monthly givers, and is part of HHA’s commitment to a sustainable, long-term approach for homeopathy in Africa.

Taught by highly experienced homeopaths this program teaches homeopathy to community leaders in remote and rural areas that is specific to their local needs.

By giving regularly, you empower these communities to take charge of their health, which in turn, saves many lives.

What just $22 a month will provide

A regular monthly donation of just $22 will provide:

  • a day’s training for one person in the Field Education Program
  • or 10 prepared remedies in bottles for one student
  • or fuel for one homeopath to visit and teach at an outreach clinic (often a three-hour drive)
  • or funding for a local organizer to provide a day’s teaching space and food for students in the Field Education Program.

The lasting impact of your giving

Students in the program go on to share their knowledge within their communities. This ongoing education is invaluable in remote areas where there’s usually no healthcare available.

This means, your monthly gift continues to educate communities in perpetuity.

Maasai Homeopathic Field Education Program

HHA’s Maasai Field Education Program has positively impacted multiple communities.

Nine community leaders in this region have been trained in homeopathy, and each of them can prescribe 45 remedies.

They provide front-line homeopathic treatment and education to their communities that do not have access to other healthcare.

Coughs are common here as the Maasai live in high altitudes with crisp nights, and they cook inside over open fires which creates a lot of smoke.

As a result of their HHA Field Education, the leaders are familiar with several homeopathic cough remedies – Bryonia, Drosera, Phosphorus, Adamas, Kali carb – and use them effectively.

As a monthly giver to this program, you get:

  • the chance to make a lasting impact on the health and lives of many people.
  • regular updates on the progress of the Field Education Program.
  • the freedom to change or suspend your monthly giving at any time.
  • hassle-free automatic donations from your credit card.
  • provided with financial statements for tax purposes.

Giving just $22 a month (less than the cost of a daily cup of coffee), makes an enormous difference to the health of rural and remote communities in Africa.

You can change the future of homeopathy

Change comes from action, not thought, so if you’re someone who wants to make a difference for the future of homeopathy, and to the health of some of the world’s most vulnerable citizens, please make a monthly contribution here.

My heartfelt thanks,

Camilla Sherr
