Volunteer with us

If you have the time available to commit to work with us for longer (a minimum of six weeks, maximum 3 months) we would be delighted to hear from you!  You can join us in our Traineeship programme.

We are looking for experienced homeopaths (minimum of 100 hours clinical experience) with the ability and confidence to take cases alone. We require that you have a homeopathic software package and that you are comfortable using it as you will be seeing lots of patients each day!

During the initial weeks we will familiarize you with case taking in an African setting and introduce you to the key HIV/AIDS remedies we use. We highly recommend that you study Jeremy’s course on Epidemics beforehand.

Our clinic locations include a variety of settings from hospitals near Moshi to rural villages.

The volunteering experience with HHA is incredibly rewarding and will without doubt expand your own homoeopathic knowledge, confidence and case taking skills. You will also gain extra benefits from being able to see your own follow-ups and results.

We currently run 19 outreach clinics and you will have a chance to treat approx. 50 -70 patients per week. This is a unique chance to be part of our work in Tanzania and to experience life in Africa!

How to apply:– Please write an application letter with your proposed dates, including your qualifications, experience and CV and send to info@homeopathyforhealthinafrica.org

“Having had the opportunity to work alongside Jeremy and Camilla in Africa was a fantastic experience. They’ve poured their heart and soul into this epidemic and homoeopathy has worked miracles. Their generosity in sharing and teaching opened a whole new world for me.”

“Having recently returned from my second tour working with HHA in Tanzania, I can only urge all homeopaths to grasp this opportunity with both hands. If there is any way that you can afford the time and the money to join this organisation for a few weeks or months, then you must do it. No words can adequately describe the experience. If in doubt, close your eyes and imagine yourself transported into a world where homeopathy is afforded the respect it deserves; where the people are eager to learn and experience its wonders; where the team in which you work is passionate and strong. Imagine how you will feel as your knowledge is increased, enhanced and consolidated. This is the reality of working with HHA in Tanzania. My aim is to return year after year.”

“Spending a month in Tanzania working alongside Jeremy and Camilla not only changed the way I practice homeopathy; it changed the way I look at the world. I returned home seeing a bigger totality and the knowledge that, with enough desire, one person can move a mountain.”
