At HHA we provide homoeopathic healthcare for over 13,000 people in the Kilimanjaro and Arusha regions of Tanzania, East-Africa.
Jeremy and Camilla Sherr created this NGO in 2009, celebrating 15 years of changing and saving lives.
Making a difference
In the Maasai land this little girl was brought to us with a curved spine. She had contracted tuberculosis as a baby, very common with the Maasai as they drink raw milk, directly from the cow. The TB went into the spine (Spinal tuberculosis or Pott’s disease), she was unable to sit or crawl, let alone stand or walk. One and a half years later her spine is normal and she is walking!
Education Program
To become truly sustainable and to be able to provide homoeopathy for more people, we train Tanzanian practitioners.

2-week Professional Development Program (PDP)
For an authentic African experience you would never get on a holiday, or in clinic at home. You will learn from us, visit villages, meet people and patients, be part of our team and really enjoy the flavour of Africa at a grassroots level.
Mary’s Story
Like so many patients at the AIDS -clinic, Mary was malnourished with little appetite and was feeling deeply sad – she wanted to just die. Her husband had passed away from AIDS and she was battling the infection too. She had no money, no work – and no prospect of work due to her illness – plus she had children to look after.
Now, five years on from her first treatment, Mary has hardly any health problems at all. In the initial stages of her treatment, her CD4 (immune cell) count went up from 183 to 506 and has remained stable ever since – Mary has survived.
